Southeastern Clay Company is a producer and processor of fine particle "hard" kaolin clays in Aiken County, South Carolina. SECC first began kaolin mining and processing operations in 1927 to serve the growing elastomerics market with economically attractive additives.

SECC produces fine particle airfloated kaolin clays that are of a quality equal to or better than those of its competitors as determined by purity and consistency. These products are used mainly by the elastomerics industry, however the agricultural chemical, adhesives, ceramics and various other industries have a need for these same products.

SECC has the capacity to package and ship any of its clay to customers in the quantity and type package that meets the customer's needs. Packaging is provided in paper or LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene) batch inclusion bags at the weight desired by the customer. Additionally, FIBC (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container) capability is between 1,900 lbs. and 2,500 lbs. We have the capability of shipping by rail in boxcars and covered hoppers and bulk or bag trucks.
